Dear Friends in Christ,
Sadly, this strange time that we’re living in does not seem to be heading for a quick and easy resolution. Unfortunately, this leads us to having to cancel all in-person events at Emmanuel March 16-22, including Sunday worship on March 22. The Digital Ministry Team and I are working on providing some on-line opportunities for us to connect as a community around Bible Study, Worship, and mutual support. Please watch for more information that will come to you via email and on Emmanuel’s Facebook page and Website to learn more about those opportunities as they become available.
We will be having regular office hours at Emmanuel this week, Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. if you need to contact the church or would like to stop in for prayer. Please know that wherever the people of God are, the prayers of the church go forth. Even during this time when it is challenging for us to meet together, I encourage you to lift each other and our world up in prayer and to reach out to each other by phone or email so that we can continue our ministry of mutual support during this challenging time.
