To our quilters at Emmanuel and beyond... Check out The Quilters documentary on Netflix. It's about a prison community who create amazing quilts for foster children in their county. Over the years, these convicted criminals have created over 2000 quilts. The program is only 30 minutes long - so not a big time commitment, but a fabulous story of people creating quilts for those in need.

In this award-winning short documentary, men in a Missouri maximum-security prison design and sew beautiful, personalized quilts for foster children.I watched that documentary last week and found it inspiring. Beautiful & very original designs plus being meaningful. The quilt making does as much for the quilt makers as it does for their recipients.
so interesting how the simple act of creating a quilt can do so much good for so many.
