Last Sunday, those who gathered at Emmanuel for in-person worship had us pray for:
Family, friends, and community members who are sick, grieving, recovering from surgery, or hospitalized
All who are celebrating their fathers today and everyday
The young adults in our congregation and communities, that they find their way in this world and experience God's presence and love
All who are struggling with anxiety and depression
A thankful heart and a burning conscience
God's forgiveness
The wellbeing of Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, who all seek God's favor
People running races, that they will be safe
The people of Gaza, struggling in the wreckage of their lives and communities
Peace in all areas of the world that are in conflict
Healing for the environment
Children who experience food insecurity during the summer months
Peace in the Middle East
Those who are struggling with chronic illness or chronic pain
Support for those who care for others and for those who wait
and with thanksgiving for:
Our fathers
The gift, joy, and challenge of children
Beautiful summer weather
